HONORABLE MENTION AWARDED TO BIAS IN MONOCHROME 2020 EXHIBITION

Many galleries are trying to showcase art digitally as we wade through a new world that we are living in. The J. Gallery put on a fully online exhibit around the theme of a singular color in show Monochrome 2020.
Bias's work "Into the Void" was awarded Honorable Mention overall.

BEST OF SHOW AWARDED TO BIAS AT OOVAR SPRING JURIED EXHIBITION

This year the Ohio Online Visual Artist Registry exhibited a fully online art show highlighting Ohio artist members. OOVAR did a live link at 6:00pm with viewing both on the website and on YouTube. 

​

Bias won Best of Show for her piece "Twins in Repose (II)" a chlorophyll process piece depicting two twin models from the UK. 

​

Grand prize was a $500 award as well as Artist of the Month for the month of August 2020.

CREATIVE WOMEN TODAY ART EXHIBIT AWARDS BIAS 3RD PLACE

Creative Women Today is an annual art show highlighting art for women and by women at Creative Space Avon.
The show put on by curist Judy Snook Kean showcased over 100 works in all mediums. 
Bias took home 3rd Place for her piece "Flowers are the Music of the Ground" a watercolor piece from circa 2018.

LAYLA'S BAD HAIR DAY AWARDED BEST ALTERNATIVE PROCESS IN PEER SHOW

For the first time in Cleveland Print Room's history, due to an emergency order this years Peer Show was fully online. The Peer Show, typically an art show spotlighting national artists in photography, opened up to non-photograph artwork accepting work in all mediums. 
Bias was awarded Best Alternative Process for the 2nd year in a row per jurists Ruddy Roe and Lissa Rivera.

BIAS TAKES HOME BEST OF SHOW IN PHOTOGRAPHY IN ARTOIS ONLINE ART GALLERY

Artois Online Gallery is a fully functional art gallery with art hanging on it's "walls"making it a fully functional  interface gallery from the comfort of our homes. 
Bias's work "A Self Portrait" was awarded Best of Show in the Photography category for her exceptional work on skeleton leaves created during quarantine.

NATIONAL ARTS PROGRAM 21ST ANNUAL ART SHOW AWARDS BIAS HONORABLE MENTION

The National Arts Program in Cleveland, Ohio but on their very own 21st annual art competition highlighting the states best from child to professional artist. 

​

The NAP is the largest art show in the state with over 480 participants this year. bias won Honorable Mention in the Professional Category for her piece "Wilt to Wood and Fall", a black and white watercolor frescoe on board. Bias is also a two time award recipient in 1st place for the NAP from 2018-2019.

BIAS AWARDED PEOPLES CHOICE AT THE OOVAR SHOW IN COLUMBUS MAIN LIBRARY

The OOVAR abbreviated from the Ohio Online Visual Artist Registry puts on an annual show in the beautifully architecturally sound Columbus Main Library in Ohio.


The coveted show is a modestly curated show hand picking the best artists in the state. 

Bias's piece "Layla's Bad Hair Day", a chlorophyll process piece was awarded Peoples Choice by visitors of the museum on Leap Day of 2020.

Bias also had coverage in the OOVAR website in an interview about her process among the winners of the show.

BEST OF SHOW AWARDED AT BLACK & WHITE PLUS SHOW AT AVON GALLERY

Bias takes home Best of Show in the Black and White Plus (one color) art show. The awarded piece was Bias's 2019 watercolor "Infinite Virtuosity of the Heart" at Creative Space Avon ran by Judy Snook-Kean. The show was amongst the largest in the gallery with over one hundred attendees on opening night. Awards were given by reading the artist statement instead of naming names for a hint of mystery.

YARDS PROJECT INVITES BIAS FOR CURATED SHOW IN: RESIDENTS SELECT

YARDS Projects is a locally ran artist highlight center for emerging and established artists. YARDS is located in beautiful Downtown Cleveland in a modern contemporary setting as a rotating art gallery and permanent museum for the patrons that reside in the building.
After careful deliberation, residents chose their favorite pieces of art to hang in the atrium. Artists spoke the night of opening about their process and inspiration for the collection.
